Full-Text Indexing Server for Verity gives users the ability to search unstructured data by providing various advanced search methods to quickly and easily locate specific information in a native file. The OnBase Full-Text Indexing Server for Verity integrates the market-leading search technology of Verity with the ease-of-use of OnBase to deliver a single, unified interface for retrieving information.

Advanced full-text searches can be performed on a variety of documents, including COLD/ERM documents, text renditions of image documents (OCR'd images), HTML and XML, as well as many third-party application documents such as Microsoft® Word, WordPerfect®, Microsoft Excel® or Adobe® PDF. With most file formats, all search hits are highlighted directly on the document, and users can easily navigate between hits by the click of a button.

Various powerful search methods can be used to search one or more Verity collections, such as simple word, wildcard, fuzzy, typo, stemming, proximity, thesaurus and soundex searches. Text searches can be combined with OnBase keyword or date range searches to define and limit the documents returned. These searches are significantly faster than regular text searches. For every query of documents that meet the search criteria, a hit list of documents is produced and displayed in a Verity Search Results dialog box.
