API Sets - Application Programming Interfaces

A rich set of programming interfaces, OnBase APIs facilitate more complex integrations with enterprise, Web and legacy applications. The APIs provide access to more than 150 content management, archival, delivery and Workflow process components that simplify the creation of custom applications powered by the OnBase back end, enabling access to information stored in OnBase.

OnBase APIs can be used to retrieve documents, access data and perform tasks inside of OnBase Workflow in real-time. They can also archive documents into the OnBase repository as well as access other information and functionality typically found inside one of the OnBase Client modules. Currently offered for both the Thick Client and the Thin Client or Core Services technologies, the architecture of these APIs can be COM, .NET or Java™, depending on the API chosen.
