Integration for Azteca Cityworks®

The Integration for Azteca Cityworks associates work orders and service requests to content stored in OnBase. Azteca System's award-winning asset management software is the only ESRI GIS-centric solution for public works and utility departments and asset management. By utilizing OnBase as Cityworks' native content management tool, Cityworks users can move from a GIS map to an associated work order and access all linked documentation.

Users can both retrieve documents from OnBase without leaving the Cityworks interface as well as archive documents into OnBase using information generated by Cityworks. Utilizing the attachments tab within Cityworks, users can immediately obtain a list of all documents associated to a Cityworks work order or service request and conduct a query to obtain documents that meet more specific criteria. Users can browse to documents or other electronic content on their local hard drive or network and archive that content into OnBase creating a dynamic link with Cityworks.

The Integration for Azteca Cityworks provides users with immediate access to enterprise content within Cityworks and shares Cityworks-centric content through the standard OnBase client interfaces. Storing electronic content in OnBase rather than using the native file linking within Cityworks provides organizations enhanced security and allows for records management, disaster recover and regulatory compliance. Using Cityworks with OnBase offers a complete and cohesive view of an organization's information.

By associating work orders with electronic content, public works departments can reduce the number of maintenance worker hours needed to complete assigned work and increase constituent satisfaction levels.
