Report Services

The OnBase Report Services module provides organizations with access to report data that shows details and trends for documents and processes within their OnBase systems. OnBase Report Services enables businesses to analyze and share information about document history and user activity across the organization and to make proactive decisions based upon solid report data.

Built using Microsoft® .NET architecture, OnBase Report Services is delivered using the Smart Client model, which provides "no touch" deployment and administration across the enterprise and the Web. The OnBase Report Services Module provides optimized, pre-configured reports and options for creating more customized reports that provide a 360-degree view of how information is entering, transitioning through and impacting the business. Each of the 80+ pre-configured reports is developed by Hyland Software or a certified partner. Reports are optimized to ensure maximum statistical capture while ensuring minimal database impact. The Configuration tool that is deployed with Report Services provides users the option to create and modify reports, providing data that is tightly aligned with the business being executed. Numerous parameters are configurable, enabling the user to quickly find the information they are seeking. .

Once generated, the reports can be displayed and printed or can be saved in a number of presentation formats. These formats include bar graphs, charts and tables along with a number of export options, such as Excel®, XML and more, for further data manipulation and presentment. Reports can then be archived back into OnBase for future retrieval.

Application

Designed in such a way that any element within the system can be audited to provide business and IT metrics, the OnBase Report Services solution enables organizations to closely monitor their OnBase implementations, keeping track of all aspects of performance. Custom configurations can be defined for individual users, enabling different users to get a view specific to their roles or functions within the organization. Workflow reports provide detailed analysis of lifecycle behavior crucial in maintaining and developing core business processes. User productivity reports measure performance, allowing for the rapid identification of process or resource bottlenecks. In addition to these areas, monitoring of data on capture, usage, system configuration and security provides organizations with specific results with which to set benchmarks, analyze trends and identify areas requiring attention.
