Statement Composition

The Statement Composition module creates an attractive layout for professional business statements. With support for text, data, images and graphs, Statement Composition is flexible and allows users to present information to their customers as best fits their statement needs. After creation, the electronic file is available for future retrieval by customer service representatives who can then print, fax or e-mail pre-designed statements.

Application

Working with COLD/ERM , the Statement Composition module applies a predefined design template to an ASCII text file. The layout and mapping of the fields is configurable through the configuration piece of the Statement Composition module. Statement Composition also allows users to specify a class of service that can match to a  Document Distribution class of service, allowing users to apply different statement layouts to different files within the same process file.

Users define the look of each statement template and updates to layout files reflected without reprocessing data. Graphical element and data format options as well as mathematical calculations and data-based graphing and charts are also available. Statement Composition can be used for a variety of statements and documents created from templates, including checking and savings statements, mortgage documents and invoices. Once the statements are archived into OnBase, they can be retrieved, viewed printed or distributed via fax, e-mail, CD/DVD or the Web.

Statement Composition removes the difficulties associated with changing pre-printed, third-party forms and makes them readily available to customer representatives. Employees can be more productive with fewer delays in handling inquiries and reproducing statements. Fully integrated into OnBase  Image Statements and Document Distribution, Statement Composition creates a complete statement handling.
