OnBase OnLine (SaaS)

OnBase OnLine allows organizations to rapidly and cost effectively implement OnBase ECM solutions without the need to expand or build an in-house network. With OnBase OnLine, customers gain the functionality and benefits of OnBase within a completely outsourced data center that is redundant and secure. As a result, organizations can combine the strength of a central content repository with the flexibility of an on-demand Web application, eliminating the often project-prohibitive investment required to create a sound technological infrastructure.

Benefits

  • Faster ROI: Because the network infrastructure is already in place, users can begin using ECM technology to increase productivity and improve customer service in a matter of days.
  • Scalability: The OnBase OnLine hosted solution can grow as fast as an organization requires, without limitations on IT infrastructure and resources.
  • Cost Effective: SaaS requires no upfront capital investment in hardware and infrastructure. This hosted solution reduces or eliminates costs associated with maintenance and administration to ensure security and availability.
  • Ease of Administration: A hosted solution is available to all authorized users with Web access, no matter how mobile the workforce. Anytime software is upgraded and new functionality is added, it is immediately available to all users.
  • Reduced Risk: A hosted solution prevents new software from disrupting an organization's existing network and storage environment. Comprehensive services include redundancy, audits, and disaster recovery controls.

Security

Using hosting facilities managed by a SAS 70 II audited, Tier One provider; OnBase OnLine provides outstanding network scalability, security and redundancy. Hyland also provides necessary database administration, backups, security and other network tasks, delivered for one, low, monthly cost. IAS can provide training, implementation, and front line administration support to end-user customers as with an on-premises OnBase implementation.

Deployment

Two options are available for engaging OnBase OnLine. Customers can use the software-as-a-service (SaaS) model, paying a monthly fee for the use of the OnBase software modules they select and the hosting service. A hosting-only model is also available, which allows an organization to own a perpetual software license(s), while still taking advantage of the benefits realized by outsourcing the use and maintenance of the network and servers.
